While Jersey farmers are placing orders for seed and planning for spring planting, it’s into their root cellars, silos, cold frames, green houses and stashes of dried and preserved fruits and mushrooms we go for local produce. Combine them with area cheese, poultry and seafood, attainable year round, and we’ve got winter menus that continue to be Jersey fresh.
